Skin Care Here I Come!

I've decided to take advantage of the mid year sales and stock up on makeup and skincare supplies. I will find some new face creams and eye treatments to get me through the winter months with it's skin drying consequences. Such rich face creams with require a face power to set any makeup otherwise it could become a colourful oil slick, not very attractive! I will use face masks once a week to rehydrate my skin and remove any impurities, hopefully creating a glowing complexion. A new facial cleanser is also a necessity as something gentler is preferred during the cool weather, especially for sensitive or wind burnt skin.

It will be such fun investigating all the new products available and testing a face cream or two. I've seen some brilliant face powders in very cute packaging at department stores and have tested them previously, so I shall stock up on these while they are on sale. I need a new face scrub too and some gentle facial soap, preferably travel size so I can see if they agree with my skin before forking out for the larger sizes. I want all my products to be relatively free of fragrance so they do not clash with my perfume or irritate my skin so that will restrict my choices somewhat. Most of the face scrubs I have my heart set on are fragrance free fortunately so I won't have to miss out on using them.

Cards To Tempt

I need new bank cards. No question about it! I've just realised how high the interest rates on my current credit cards have become - astronomical! There is surely a card out there with my name on it preferably accompanying a great credit card deal.I have done some research online and it looks like some HSBC cards might be the best choices for me. While searching, I stumbled upon the following useful websites which have already saved me a lot of time as I won't need to search through other websites at all!

I've heard stories about how long it can take to receive a credit card application approval so I think applying online would be the best method. Applying for a credit card online will also save a lot of time as I won't have to drive to the post box and I can just type in all the information rather than painstakingly writing it by hand.

Stressful Furnishings

My current home is looking a little worse for wear thanks to all the dog hair and dirt trampled deep within the carpet throughout the house. All our furniture is falling apart and the upholstery is full of tears and stains. Its time to break out the online personal loans and replace everything!

Even when sitting watching my favourite television shows while sipping a cup of chamomile tea, I find my stress levels increasing entirely due to the unbearably shabby surrounds. I'm at the end of my tether and must buy the replacements this coming weekend before I crack! Fortunately I recently created a bank account with high interest savings which I have been regularly adding to so don't have to rely completely on the personal loans.

This, on top of the disasterous renovations we undertook, has put quite a dent in our bank balance, especially with the regular loan repayments. We hope to visit our financial advisor to discuss the possibility of a loan consolidation so things don't get too out of hand.

New Careers Awaiting

The high ranking Australian jobs and career website, Jobs.com.au, has partnered with JOBX in a move to improve the customer experience with greater search functionality and a wider variety of advertised positions. The Jobs.com.au business was acquired in June 2007 by a Brisbane-based web publishing firm. Since the original relaunch of Jobs.com.au in 2007, the website has continued its rise in popularity to its current standing as one of the highest ranking job sites in Australia.

Brisbane, QLD (PRWEB) April 19, 2008 -- The high ranking Australian jobs and career website, Jobs.com.au, has partnered with JOBX in a move to improve the customer experience with greater search functionality and a wider variety of advertised positions. The Jobs.com.au business was acquired in June 2007 by a Brisbane-based web publishing firm. Since the original relaunch of Jobs.com.au in 2007, the website has continued its rise in popularity to its current standing as one of the highest ranking job sites in Australia.

Jobs.com.au CEO, Peter Andronicos, understood the need for a more comprehensive user experience if the website was to grow, the dynamic career website JOBX was approached to further develop the functionality of Jobs.com.au. This partnership has benefited JOBX by providing them with much more high quality traffic than they would normally have expected and has shown exceptional results in a very limited amount of time. A marked increase in the exploration of the pages on Jobs.com.au has also been felt, demonstrating that users have embraced the changes with gusto.

With the unemployment rate at astonishing lows of 4.0% in March 2008, job search sites offer more potential than ever before in helping people into the careers they want. Low unemployment and a high level of new jobs being advertised every day means that users more than ever before will need easily accessible and understandable help to sort through the massive range of career choices. Signs that job advertisements have fallen in both February and March indicates some slowing of the economy, but this makes it more vital than ever to get into the right job before competition rises again.

Using the JOBX platform allows Jobs.com.au to provide a range of tools and resources for job seekers. From job-related videos, including tips on how to do well in interviews to inspiration and advice from experts in their field. There's also a range of web 2.0 features such as the job wiki, polls, webinars, job news, competitions and podcasts. Jobs.com.au also provides a cheaper alternative for employers to advertise a job online with listings starting from just $29.95.

Jobs.com.au provided a portal to many top career websites and job search tools from its original launch in 2007, but the redesign of the site has dramatically improved the range of user experience. A powerful search tool has been added to the site, making it much more convenient to find the best jobs, as well as a massive expansion of the job categories index to help users of all kinds to narrow down their search criteria even further. Additionally, extra resources and training possibilities have been added to the Jobs.com.au site by JOBX, giving users help beyond just searching through advertised positions.

Homemade Pickles

It seems things are getting worse with our renovating - we've got termites! It looks like we're simply going to have to find some home improvement loans to ease our despair!

We've tried scrimping and saving but just can't manage with the endless expenses this house is unloading on us. The credit cards have definitely helped but we think a loan would be more beneficial. I plan to compare home loans and mortgage to make sure we choose the most suitable loan and see if there is another way around our ever growing pickle!

A Renovators Dream...or Nightmare!

My husband and I recently bought a house to renovate and resell for a tidy profit. Little did we know what disasters were to rear their expensive heads in the process! It seems all of our plumbing needs to be replaced as do all the roofing tiles, and thats just for starters!

I've been looking into credit card balance transfers with 0% interest so we can reduce our expenses. Hopefully this will help with our savings and we can get onto the unpleasant work ahead.

I've also looked at online credit cards to find one with the longest interst free days or with a special 0% interest deal. I've seen a few perfect cards that will allow us to buy some supplies and pay it off later.

Fingers crossed this will be the only giant setback in our plans!
